Northern_BC iGEM 2021 Vitamin D Biosensor:
In 2021, team Northern_BC adapted part BBa_K3515011 for its use in a vitamin D biosensor.
Improvements of this part included the removal of a stop codon in the middle of the
sequence, codon optimization for expression in an E. coli system, the addition of
a C-terminal His-tag, and the removal of restriction sites to ensure
RFC[10, 12, 23, 25, and 100] BioBrick compatibilities.
